I have booting in safe mode (it also freezes on safe mode), and allowed me to run EtreCheck, newly formatted with Big Sur and shows 12 Kernel Panic:ĭiagnostics Information (past 7-30 days): I have tried some of the typical solutions, running disk diagnostics, mac diagnostics, resetting RAM, antivirus scanning, even format and reinstall, but still does the same. A couple months ago it will run for hours without freezing but now it freezes instantly at login or a few minutes later. All of a sudden over the past few weeks it has started to completely freeze, most of the time the screen freezes but still shows whatever I was working, trackpad doesn't respond, after a few seconds it goes to the black screen that says that there was a problem and restarts. When I removed this from my MacBook I didn't have a problem for around a couple of months but then it reappeared so I'm not sure what's going on. I sometimes don't have a freeze in a couple of days or weeks but sometimes it happens everyday. I haven't yet upgraded to Monterey 12.2.1. This started when I was in macOS Catalina and I upgraded to BigSur thinking it would help but it didn't. I have tried removing Chromium, removing all extensions and anything that could interfere with the cpu or anything. Then my MacBook gives me the restart error report which I have added as additional text, but sometimes it doesn't give it to me. All I can do is force restart my MacBook with Shift+Option+Command+Power. The screen obviously is frozen but the audio from the video keeps playing. While watching Youtube my MacBook freezes and I can't use the Touch Bar, trackpad, escape key, f key.
